Niki Kavakonis Designs at the Art Gallery of Ontario
Niki Kavakonis has designed a stunning art jewellery collection, exclusive to the Art Gallery of Ontario. Comprised of some 10+ designs in sterling silver and utilizing a number of techniques, this collection promotes Art and the Gallery, as redesigned by renowned architect Frank O. Gehry, in 2008.
Each of the designs are based on one of Gehry's new features of the Gallery. One design, the Roundel necklace, plays hommage to theoldest portion of the Gallery, Walker Court, built in 1926.
